New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha shared a new video after leaving the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He explained his decision in very simple terms.
He said many people messaged him in the last few days. Some congratulated him, while others asked why he left AAP. So, he made this video to answer them.
Chadha said he had three options after leaving AAP:
Leave politics
Stay in AAP and try to fix things
Join another party and continue his work
He chose to join another party.
He also said AAP is not the same party anymore. According to him, he was not allowed to speak freely in Parliament and could not work properly. He felt the party environment had become negative.
Chadha said he was a chartered accountant before politics and had a good career. He joined AAP as a founding member and worked hard for 15 years. But now, he feels the party has changed.
He added that seven MPs left AAP together. He said one or two people can be wrong, but not all seven.
Finally, he said he will continue to raise people’s issues in Parliament, just like before.
