Pune: A ragging case has been reported at ILS Law College in Pune. The Deccan Police have filed a case against five students for troubling another student. This has created concern in the college area.
The victim is a 35-year-old LLB second-year student who lives in the boys’ hostel. He said that five 20-year-old students from his class were troubling him for some time. They used bad words, insulted him, and gave him mental stress as part of ragging.
Police action
The student complained to the police a few days ago. After checking the matter, police found it true and registered a case against the five students under anti-ragging law.
The student had also complained to the college. Now, police are checking what action the college took. Many people are surprised that such a case happened in a well-known college. The police are still investigating.
