New Delhi: There is sad news from Indian hockey. Gurbax Singh Grewal, who won a bronze medal for India in the 1968 Summer Olympics, has died at the age of 84.
As per news, he suffered a heart attack and passed away on Friday in Zirakpur. His death has made the sports world, especially hockey lovers, very sad.
Grewal was part of the Indian team that won a bronze medal in 1968. A special thing is that his brother, Balbir Singh Grewal, also played with him in the same team. It is very rare for two brothers to play together for India in the Olympics.
