DRDO said all parts of the system worked well during the test. The missile was first pushed to high speed using a booster from the ground. After that, the SFDR engine started working smoothly in the air.Important systems like the booster, ramjet engine and fuel control unit performed as planned. Scientists used tracking equipment along the Bay of Bengal coast to check the missile’s performance.
This new technology will help India make faster missiles that can fly longer distances and move better during combat.Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO scientists for the successful test. DRDO Chief Samir V Kamat also praised the teams for their hard work.
