Mumbai: Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said the case against fake godman Ashok Kharat is very serious.
He said the government will take strong action and no one will be saved, no matter how powerful they are.
Fadnavis explained that many women are scared to speak because of society and pressure. Police are helping them come forward and share the truth.
Police Working Fast
He said senior officers are watching the case closely. A special team and Nashik police are investigating together.
He also asked people to give any proof they have. “Bring evidence, we will take action,” he said.
Warning to Supporters
Fadnavis hinted that some big people may have helped Kharat. His statement has created tension among those who could be involved.
Don’t Make It Political
He clearly said this is about women’s respect, not politics. He asked everyone not to use the issue for political fights.
The Chief Minister repeated that the government will not leave the accused and will make sure justice is done.
