Bengaluru: A terrible road accident took place in Bengaluru and seven people lost their lives. The accident happened because a 17-year-old boy was driving a car at a very high speed. This tragic incident shows how dangerous overspeeding can be.
The crash happened early in the morning on the Dobbaspet–Hoskote Ring Road. The boy was driving an SUV very fast, around 160 km per hour, with his teenage friends. First, the car hit a bike from behind. The bike rider, named Gagan, died on the spot.
After hitting the bike, the car kept moving and crashed into a truck in front. The hit was so strong that the truck’s back wheels and axle broke and fell on the road. The truck lost control and turned over on the side road. The truck driver was badly injured.
Broken glass, car parts, and bodies were seen on the road after the crash. Six students were among those who died. Soon after, another car hit the broken truck parts lying on the road, but its passengers had only small injuries.
This sad accident is a warning that speeding and underage driving can destroy many lives in just a few seconds.
