New Delhi : Fighting in the Middle East is still going on, and there is no clear sign of peace. Donald Trump had spoken about a ceasefire, but Iran’s actions show the situation is still serious.
Amid this, Trump had a phone call with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Both leaders discussed the ongoing conflict and the need to keep the Strait of Hormuz open, as it is very important for oil supply across the world.
The tension increased after the US and Israel carried out air attacks on Iran. In reply, Iran launched strong counterattacks in the region. It also affected ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which created problems in oil supply and pushed fuel prices up.
Because of this, many countries are worried about a bigger war and rising energy costs.
India has asked for peace and calm. Modi said that all countries should talk and solve the issue without war. He also warned that if the conflict continues for long, it can impact the whole world.
Now, there are efforts to reduce tension and restart talks, but the situation is still uncertain.
