New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi criticised PM Narendra Modi for not speaking strongly about the situation in the Middle East. He said the crisis is affecting oil prices and the economy, but Modi did not say anything against the United States.
He said this while speaking at an event in Vadodara, Gujarat. He also questioned Modi’s speech in Parliament and asked why the government stayed quiet.
No Clear Plan
Rahul Gandhi said the government does not have a clear plan to deal with this situation. He warned that it could create problems for India.
Questions on India–US Deal
He also criticised the trade deal between India and the United States. He said India has opened its farming sector to American companies and shared important data. According to him, US companies are getting benefits, while Indian people are paying more taxes. He said India has given more but got less in return.
Debate on Tribal Identity
Rahul Gandhi said tribal people are the original people of the land. He accused the BJP of using a different word to describe them, which may reduce their identity and rights.
Demand for Separate Budget
He asked for a separate budget for tribal communities. He also said tribal students should get better education, including English and modern skills, so they can get good jobs in the future.
Rahul Gandhi used this event to question the government on global issues, the economy, and tribal rights in simple words.
