Mumbai: Maharashtra State Council of Examination has announced the final result of the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (Maha TET) 2025. The results show a very low pass percentage, with only 11.28 per cent candidates qualifying the exam.
A total of 4,75,669 candidates had registered for the Maha TET 2025 examination. Out of these, 4,46,730 candidates appeared for the test, while 28,939 candidates remained absent.
According to the official data, only 50,369 candidates have successfully cleared the examination. On the other hand, 3,96,325 candidates failed to qualify, highlighting the tough nature of the exam.
The low success rate has once again raised concerns among teacher aspirants across the state. Many candidates are now demanding a review of the exam pattern and evaluation process.
The Maha TET qualification is mandatory for candidates seeking teaching jobs in government and aided schools in Maharashtra.
