Mumbai: A man named Ashok Kharat, who called himself a godman , has been arrested in Nashik. He is accused of sexually abusing many women. Police also found some videos in a pen drive, which are said to be linked to the case.

This issue has now turned political. Some photos have come out showing that a few politicians and well-known people had contact with him. This has created a big controversy in Maharashtra.

Shiv Sena (Thackeray group) leader Sanjay Raut has attacked the government over this matter. He said some ministers were taking advice from this godman even for official work. He also claimed that transfers and promotions in departments were influenced by him.

Raut demanded action and asked for the resignation of ministers linked to the case, including Deepak Kesarkar. He also said that DCM Eknath Shinde should take strict steps.

He further criticized blind faith in politics and said such things should not happen in government work. Raut also mentioned CM Devendra Fadnavis while raising questions about the situation.

Police are still investigating the case, and more details may come out soon.
