Mumbai: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) held a special programme in Mumbai to celebrate its 100 years. The event took place at Nehru Centre. A lecture series called ‘Nav Kshitij’ started on Saturday and will run for two days.
The aim of the programme is to talk about RSS’s journey, its ideas, and its work for society and the nation. RSS was started by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar to bring discipline and unity in society.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will give a speech at the event. A question-and-answer session will be held with him on the next day. Around 900 special guests from across the country have been invited.
Film stars attend the event
Many famous people from films and culture were seen at the programme. Director Subhash Ghai, actress Ashwini Bhave, actor Sunil Barve, and actress-MP Hema Malini attended the event. Their presence made the programme more special.

The biggest moment came when Salman Khan arrived at the venue. As soon as he entered, all eyes and cameras turned towards him. People gathered around him, and the atmosphere became lively.
