Mumbai: Sanjay Raut has criticised the state government and said funds are not being given fairly. He said Marathwada and Vidarbha need more help and development money. According to him, even if the MLA is from the opposition, those areas should still get proper funds. He accused the government of giving money in a wrong and unfair way.
Raut also said that people holding big posts like Assembly Speaker or Lok Sabha Speaker must be neutral and treat all parties equally. He added that leaders should work without political bias.
When asked about the statement made by Jitendra Awhad on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Raut avoided answering and said people of Maharashtra will respond to it.
He also spoke about the LPG gas shortage and said the situation is serious. He claimed many restaurants in Mumbai are closed, and street food sellers are also affected. Schools are finding it hard to get gas.
Raut said even temples are facing problems. At the Annapurna Temple, free food service has stopped, and in Shirdi, prasad has been reduced.
He asked the government to act fast and solve the gas shortage problem.
