Rajnath Singh’s Nagpur visit: Meet with Nitin Gadkari, Big words on modern War

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at his residence.

Nagpur: During his visit to Nagpur, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at his residence. Later, he attended the opening of a new ammunition factory of Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited.

Speaking at the event, Singh said that wars have changed in today’s time. They are not fought only on land or at borders. Now, wars also happen through energy, trade, supply chains, technology, and information.

He said that earlier, defence production in India was only done by government companies. At that time, people did not think that private companies could work in this field.

The Defence Minister said the private sector always had talent and strength, but it did not get enough chances. When India started moving towards self-reliance, there were doubts about giving this work to private firms. But the present government trusted them and changed policies to make things easier.

Because of this, private companies are now making good quality defence products on time. Work has become faster and more modern. Singh said India’s defence system has improved a lot, and the use of new technology by private firms is praiseworthy.

On this occasion, Singh also flagged off the first batch of guided Pinaka rockets made by the Solar Group for Armenia.

The company said a special range for testing 23 mm ammunition will start within three months. It also plans to build advanced drones for watching borders and combat use.
