Chiplun: Senior BJP leader and MP Narayan Rane has hinted that he may step away from active politics. While speaking at a public event, Rane said that his age is increasing and it may be the right time to stop and rest.
During the municipal election campaign, he spoke about his two sons and said they are now settled in political life. He also said someone needs to take care of the family business, which many saw as a clear sign of his retirement plans.While finishing his speech, Rane’s voice became weak and he ended the address early. Later, at an agriculture festival in Chiplun, he reportedly felt dizzy, causing concern among people present at the event.
Because he was not feeling well, Rane refused to speak to reporters and left the venue immediately. He later went to a guest house with his wife, accompanied by security. Party workers were seen looking after him.Earlier in Sindhudurg, Rane spoke openly about his simple lifestyle. He said he still buys vegetables himself and does not use cars with black glass. He added that humanity is his biggest value.
Rane also said he has faced many problems and political games throughout his career. He claimed such situations still exist today and because of this, he has decided to stay away from active politics and guide his children to do good work.
His remarks have started discussions about his future in politics.
