What PM Modi Said in the House
Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticised Rahul Gandhi for calling BJP MP Ravneet Bittu a “traitor”. Modi said a Congress leader called a Member of Parliament a traitor inside the House. He said this shows pride and bad thinking. Modi added that Rahul Gandhi used this word because Ravneet Bittu is Sikh, which hurts the Sikh community and insults Sikh gurus.
PM Modi also said the Congress party never supported startups. He said Congress cannot even manage startups in their own family. Modi accused Congress of being angry and wanting to “dig Modi’s grave”.
The Prime Minister said his government removed Article 370, worked for the development of the North-East, and gave strong replies to Pakistani terrorists. He said his government is also taking strong action against Maoist violence. Modi said these steps have upset Congress.
PM Modi also said he felt sad that Congress opposed giving the Bharat Ratna award to Bhupen Hazarika.
