The visit is taking place at a time when tensions are high in the Middle East. Many Islamic countries have criticized Israel’s actions in the West Bank. At the same time, U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Iran about possible military action, increasing worries about conflict in the region.
Media around the world, especially in Pakistan, is closely watching the visit. Pakistani newspapers say relations between India and Israel have grown stronger in recent years. Pakistan’s media and political leaders have also expressed concern over Israel’s recent statements about forming new international partnerships for security.
Experts say Modi’s visit shows growing cooperation between India and Israel in defence, technology, and business, and highlights changing political situations in the Middle East.
