‘One Nation, One Ration Card’ Makes Ration Access Easier

The central government has decided to make the One Nation, One Ration Card scheme stronger across India.

New Delhi: The central government has decided to make the One Nation, One Ration Card scheme stronger across India. Because of this system, people can now take ration from any government ration shop, even if they are in another city or state.

More than 80 crore people who get food under the National Food Security Act will benefit from this change. The ration card will work anywhere in the country, making it easier for families to get food grains.

This decision will help migrant workers, students and people who move to other places for work. Earlier, many people could take ration only from the shop linked to their hometown.

Now they can use the same ration card to get rice, wheat and other grains from any ration shop in India. The government says this step will make the ration system easier and more helpful for people.
