Rohit Pawar also said that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has not yet received any request from the Maharashtra government to start an investigation. According to him, his party has already submitted a letter to the Chief Minister asking for a CBI probe.
He added that he has asked for meetings with the DGCA, the CBI and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, but he has not received any response yet.
Rohit Pawar also criticised senior leader Praful Patel and claimed that there may be pressure on Jay Pawar not to speak publicly about the case.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi said the issue is serious and a fair and transparent investigation is necessary. He also said that it is surprising that no FIR has been filed yet in such a major incident
