Mumbai: Iranian actress Mandana Karimi has once again come into the spotlight after making strong comments about leaving India. Her statement comes after reports of the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in recent attacks by the US and Israel, which has increased tension in West Asia. Earlier, Mandana had expressed happiness over his death, and that created a big debate online.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Mandana said she is planning to leave India because of safety reasons. She said she came to India at a young age and built her career here, but now she feels hurt and alone. According to her, after she spoke openly about Iran, many of her friends stopped talking to her. She said she has felt very lonely in the last two months. Still, she thanked India for giving her work in acting and modeling.
Mandana also said she dreams of a free Iran, where women can study freely and wear clothes of their choice. She said she has been waiting for such change for many years. She added that once things improve in Iran, she is ready to go back. She even said her bags are packed.
Mandana became well known in India after taking part in Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan. After that, she worked in a few films, including Bhaag Johnny. Her latest comments have again started a fresh discussion among fans and on social media.
