Mumbai: There is good news for women in Maharashtra. The government has started sending the February installment under the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. Many women have already begun receiving money in their bank accounts.
Under this scheme, eligible women get ₹1500 every month to support their daily needs. The Women and Child Development Department shared that the transfer process has now started and all payments will be completed within the next 2–3 days.
Minister Aditi Tatkare said that the system work is in progress and money will soon reach all beneficiaries whose bank accounts are linked with Aadhaar.
Important Deadline for e-KYC
Women who want to continue getting benefits must complete their e-KYC process. The last date to correct or update details is March 31, 2026.
Officials found that some women made mistakes while filling their details earlier. So, they have been given one more chance to fix it. If corrections are not done on time, they may miss future payments.
