Nagpur: Voting for 29 municipal corporations in Maharashtra will be held on 15 January. Before the elections, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has updated the voter list under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive. This update includes corrections in voters’ names and addresses.
Check voter details from home
Voters can now check and download the updated voter list using a mobile phone or computer. There is no need to visit the polling booth in advance.

On these websites, voters can easily find:
- Their name in the voter list
- Voter constituency details
- Polling booth information
- Number of candidates in their area
Election officials said this online facility will help voters and make the election process easy, clear, and transparent.
How to download the voter list
Open https://mahasec.maharashtra.gov.in/ on your mobile or laptop
- Click on the Voter Search option
- Open Local Self Government Voter
- List
- Select Search Name in Voter List
- Search using your EPIC number or full name
Click on Download Voter List
- You can check Draft List, Final List, or Booth List
- Voters can also use the Matadhikar Mobile App
- Documents needed for SIR verification
- The SIR drive is currently running in 12 states. Although Maharashtra has not started yet, voters who wish to update or verify their details should keep any one of the following documents ready:
- Birth certificate
- Passport or school/college certificate
- Address proof
- Government employee or pension ID
- House or land allotment paper
- Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC)
- Family register or local body certificate
- Aadhaar card or PAN card
With this online service, voters can now check their voting details anytime and anywhere, helping them stay prepared for election day.
