New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will travel to Israel on February 25 and 26 for a short but important visit. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu shared this news during a public event and spoke highly about the strong friendship between India and Israel.
During this visit, PM Modi is expected to meet Israeli leaders and talk about defence, business, technology and security. He may also give a speech at Israel’s Parliament, called the Knesset.
This will be Modi’s second visit to Israel. His first visit in 2017 was historic because he was the first Indian Prime Minister to go there. Since then, both countries have grown closer and are working together in many areas.
In the past year, leaders from both sides have visited each other’s countries. India and Israel are especially focusing on defence production, new technology, trade agreements and fighting terrorism. The upcoming visit is expected to further strengthen the partnership between the two nations.
