Mumbai: Bollywood actor Govinda is in the news because of problems in his personal life. His wife, Sunita Ahuja, recently made several claims against him. She said that Govinda had extra-marital relationships and did not help much in building their son’s career. She also said that she told her son not to become like his father.
After these statements, Govinda has shared his side of the story in an interview.Govinda said that he left politics only for his family. He explained that politics brings stress, competition, and negativity. He did not want these things to affect his wife and children, so he decided to step away.
Talking about his son’s career, Govinda said that he did try to help. He shared that he personally spoke to filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala and asked him to guide his son. According to Govinda, Sajid allowed his son to learn how films are made and how work happens in the industry.
Govinda also said that people at home felt he did not keep good relationships in the film industry. He said this hurt him because he was not given a chance to explain himself.
Speaking emotionally, Govinda said that he prays to God every day to do something good for his children. He said when family members themselves start doubting him, it becomes very painful. He added that he has helped many new directors, producers, and actors in the past and always gave his best whenever he got a chance.
Govinda said he does not want to talk more about this issue because it affects his self-respect.He also praised his son and said that his son is very talented and, in some ways, even better than him. Govinda believes that if his son gets the right opportunity, he can become a successful actor.
