New Delhi:The festival of Eid al-Fitr is being celebrated with great happiness across the country. Muslim communities offered morning prayers and exchanged warm wishes with everyone.
PM Narendra Modi also greeted the nation on this special day. He even spoke to Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi over a phone call to extend his wishes.
In many places, people are coming together to celebrate. Muslim families are inviting their Hindu friends and neighbors to enjoy traditional sweets like sheer khurma and other festive dishes, spreading a message of unity and friendship.
Meanwhile, Raj Thackeray visited actor Aamir Khan at his home to wish him Eid greetings. Sharmila Thackeray was also present during the visit.
The festive mood is also visible in Bollywood. Actor Salman Khan greeted his fans in the morning and later appeared on his balcony with his father Salim Khan in the evening, waving and wishing everyone a happy Eid.
