Mumbai : Maharashtra cabinet, led by CM Devendra Fadnavis, has taken four important decisions to help people in the state.
First, teachers in some model colleges will now get basic salary as per rules of the University Grants Commission (UGC). This will give them financial support and relief.
Second, the government has made changes in land rules. Some lands from Class-2 will be changed to Class-1. This means landowners will get more rights and fewer restrictions. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said this demand was pending for many years.
Third, the state has announced a new Compressed Biogas (CBG) Policy 2026. The government will spend ₹500 crore this year. This will help in better waste management and reduce pollution.
Fourth, land has been given for a new IT park in Satara. Around 42 hectares will be given to the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation. This project will create jobs and business chances for young people.
These decisions will help in improving land rules, education, clean energy, and job opportunities in Maharashtra.
