New Delhi: A major conflict has broken out in the Middle East involving Iran, the United States and Israel. What started as attacks between these countries is now affecting many parts of the world. Iran has carried out strong counter-attacks that the US and Israel were not expecting. Iran has also shut the important oil route called the Strait of Hormuz, which is used by many countries for trade and fuel supply.
Because this sea route is closed, several countries are facing serious problems. Pakistan is struggling with shortages of gas and crude oil, creating a situation similar to a lockdown. India is also seeing a shortage of LPG gas, while Bangladesh is facing similar fuel issues. Many Gulf countries are also under pressure as food and fuel supplies have been disrupted.
The crisis began to grow after a major strike on February 28, 2026, when the United States and Israel attacked targets inside Iran. After that, Iran launched attacks on places where American military bases are located. Iran also targeted several oil refineries in the region, which caused major damage and increased tension across the Gulf.
During the February 28 attack, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was reportedly killed along with several members of his family. His death was a huge blow to Iran and made the conflict even more intense.
Meanwhile, US leader Donald Trump claimed during a rally in Kentucky that America had already won the war within the first few hours. He said the US military achieved victory quickly but operations will continue. Trump also surprised the crowd by dancing on stage while talking about the war.
