New Delhi: A big and tragic accident has happened in Tamil Nadu, which has shocked people across the country.
The incident took place in Virudhunagar district. As per reports, at least 16 people have died after a huge explosion in a firecracker factory. The explosion happened in a cracker unit in the Kattanarpatti area. After the blast, fire spread to four nearby units, making the situation worse. The blast was very strong and also damaged nearby buildings.
Fire brigade, police, and rescue teams quickly reached the spot. They are removing debris and trying to rescue trapped workers. The area has been closed, and security has been increased.
