Mumbai: Two major industrial groups have announced massive investments in the state, bringing good news for jobs and development.
A steel company from West Bengal, Shyam Steel Group, will invest ₹10,000 crore in Chandrapur district, especially in the Godpimpri area. This project is expected to create more than 8,000 jobs for people.
At the same time, JW Global India Company has planned a much bigger investment of around ₹1.65 lakh crore. This project will provide jobs to about 3,000 people.
These agreements were signed in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, showing the government’s push to attract big industries and boost the economy.
In another development, a floating solar power and energy storage project will be set up at Ujani Dam in Solapur district. Around ₹14,976 crore will be invested in this project, and it will create about 500 permanent jobs.
Overall, these projects are expected to bring investments worth ₹1.75 lakh crore and generate more than 11,000 job opportunities in the state, giving a strong boost to industrial growth and employment.
