Mumbai: On Ambedkar Jayanti, Maharashtra leaders paid respect to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar at Chaitya Bhoomi in Mumbai.
CM Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and Sunetra Pawar visited the place and offered flowers to Babasaheb. They bowed their heads and remembered his great work.
A large number of people also came there to pay tribute. Police made strong security arrangements because of the big crowd. Special facilities were arranged for visitors.
Leaders said that Dr. Ambedkar showed the path of equality, education, and justice. They asked people to follow his ideas.
Every year, many people come to Chaitya Bhoomi on this day to remember Babasaheb and his contribution to the country.
