New Delhi: A dispute started after Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi read from the book “Four Stars of Destiny” in Parliament. The book is written by former Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane. After this, there was chaos in the House.
As the issue grew, General Naravane shared a message from the publisher, Penguin India, to explain the situation.
Penguin India said the book is not released yet. The publisher explained that showing a book for pre-order does not mean it is published. The book will be called published only after its official launch.
The publisher also said that no printed or digital copy of the book has been given to the public by Penguin India.
Penguin warned that sharing the book in any form—print, PDF, or online—without permission is illegal. Legal action will be taken against anyone who shares or sells the book without approval.
The book has come into controversy even before its release. The matter started after Rahul Gandhi mentioned the book while speaking about China and criticised the central government.
Delhi Police have registered a case after reports said that early copies of the book were found on some websites. The investigation is ongoing.
