Mumbai: Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule has given a clear warning to farmers. He said that if anyone blocks or uses government farm roads illegally, strict action will be taken.
The government is building special roads to help farmers reach their fields easily. But in many places, these roads are blocked by people. Because of this, other farmers face problems.
The minister said that if a farmer blocks these roads, their Farmer ID will be closed, and they will not get any government scheme benefits.
He also requested farmers to remove any illegal use of roads on their own so that road work can continue without problems.
Action Against Land Scam
The minister also spoke about a big land issue in the Pune area. Around 155 officials are accused of misusing their power. Many land cases were handled wrongly, and land was transferred to the wrong people.
So far, about 400 cases have been found, and many more are being checked across the state.
Strict Steps by Government
Bawankule said that no one will be spared. Some officials have already been removed from their jobs. Fake land deals will be cancelled through court.
The government said it is working to stop corruption and make sure farmers get fair benefits and proper road access.
