Budget Session of Parliament started today. On the first day, PM Narendra Modi spoke to the media at the Parliament complex and shared his views on the session and the country’s future plans.PM Modi said the President’s address reflected the confidence, hard work, and hopes of 140 crore people of India. He said special attention was given to the expectations of the youth and the vision for the coming years. He added that Members of Parliament should take the President’s guidance seriously.
The Prime Minister said that the first phase of the 21st century has ended and a new phase has begun. He said the next 25 years will be very important for India to achieve the goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047. According to him, this budget will help decide the country’s future direction.
PM Modi also said that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget for the ninth time in a row. He called it a proud moment, as she will become the first woman finance minister in India to do so.Talking about the government’s work, the Prime Minister said his government believes in reform, performance, and transformation. He said the country is moving fast on the path of reforms with the support of Parliament.He added that the government is focusing on making sure welfare schemes reach people directly. PM Modi said future reforms will help improve services and make life easier for citizens.
