Nagpur: If you are planning to go to the bank this week, check the holiday list first. Some bank branches will remain closed due to local festivals and weekly holidays. To avoid problems with money transfers, cheque clearance or other important work, it is better to plan early.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the bank holidays for the third week of February 2026. Some states will have bank holidays because of local events.
On February 20 (Friday), banks will be closed in Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram. People in these states should finish their important bank work before that day.In other states, banks will stay open as usual, except for normal weekend holidays. Online banking, ATMs and mobile banking will continue to work.
