Nashik: The issue related to self-styled godman Ashok Kharat is getting bigger day by day. After photos of his worship went viral, many opposition leaders started criticizing Rupali Chakankar.
Now, Chakankar has taken a strong step. She met Maharashtra’s top police officer, Sadanand Date, in Mumbai and asked for a detailed investigation. She also gave an official letter from the Women’s Commission.

Serious complaints, including allegations of crimes against women, have been made against Kharat. Because of this, the matter has created tension in political circles.
Chakankar said that all complaints should be checked properly and the truth must come out. She also asked the police to take strict action against anyone found guilty.
