New Delhi: The conflict between Iran and Israel has become more intense, with both countries carrying out missile attacks against each other. The situation in the Middle East is becoming dangerous, especially after the United States showed support for Israel. Reports say Iran has also targeted military bases linked to the US and Israel, increasing fears of a wider war.
Due to the rising tension, India has taken precautionary steps. India’s national airline, Air India, has decided to suspend flights to several Middle Eastern destinations to ensure passenger safety.
Flights to cities such as Dubai, Doha, Riyadh, Tel Aviv, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Dammam and Muscat have been temporarily cancelled. The airline said the decision was taken because of security concerns and uncertain airspace conditions in the region.
Meanwhile, the Indian government has issued helpline numbers for Indian citizens staying in Iran and nearby areas. Another airline, IndiGo, said it is closely monitoring the situation and will take further action depending on safety updates.
