New Delhi: Four years after the death of cricket legend Shane Warne, his son Jackson Warne has made a new claim.
In a podcast interview, Jackson said he feels COVID-19 vaccines may have played a part in his father’s death. He said Warne had taken three or four vaccine doses, possibly because of work rules, and believes this may have affected his health.
Shane Warne died in March 2022 at the age of 52 in Thailand. Doctors said he died due to a heart attack. At that time, reports also mentioned that he had some health issues like smoking and strict dieting.
Jackson also admitted that his father already had some health problems. But he feels the vaccines may have made things worse.
However, health experts say there is no strong proof that COVID vaccines cause heart attacks in such cases. Studies on COVID-19 vaccines show they are safe for most people.
Doctors say heart attacks usually happen because of lifestyle, stress, smoking, or other health problems—not vaccines.
Shane Warne is still remembered as one of the greatest cricketers in the world.
