New Delhi: A big fire broke out in Pahalgam, a famous tourist place in Kashmir. The incident happened in the Laripora area and quickly spread across a resort.Three buildings of a luxury resort were completely burned down. The loss is said to be around ₹50–60 crore. During the fire, several gas cylinders exploded, making loud sounds and creating panic in the area.
Tourists and local people ran out to save themselves as the fire spread fast. Fire brigade teams reached on time and worked hard to bring the fire under control. Wind made the situation worse and helped the fire spread faster.Luckily, no deaths have been reported so far. Officials believe the fire might have started due to a gas leak, but the real reason will be known after investigation.
Jammu and Kashmir Fire and Emergency Services helped control the fire and stopped it from spreading to nearby places.
