New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has shared positive news after his visit to the United States. He said the trip was very good and helpful for India.
Jaishankar posted on social media and thanked US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for the warm welcome. He said the talks between India and the US were friendly and useful.
He also said that the trade deal between India and the US is almost complete. Only a few small technical steps are left. These will be finished soon. After this, the deal will be ready.
According to Jaishankar, this trade deal will make the relationship between India and the US stronger. It will start a new phase of cooperation between the two countries.
He explained that the deal is not only about buying and selling goods. It will also improve long-term ties between India and the US. The agreement will help both countries work together in technology, factories, and supply chains.
Recently, India also signed a big trade deal with the European Union. This has helped Indian exports grow. Many taxes on Indian products were removed. Because of this, countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh may face problems in their textile business.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has already reduced tariffs on some Indian products. Experts believe that tariffs may go down more in the future after the trade deal is fully signed.
