New Delhi: India beat New Zealand in a nail-biting first ODI. The match went till the last over. Under pressure, KL Rahul stayed calm and hit a big six to win the game for India.

This shot made history. With this winning six, KL Rahul broke Virat Kohli’s record. He has now finished more ODI matches for India with a six than Kohli.

New Zealand scored 300 runs first in Vadodara. India’s chase started well, and Virat Kohli played a strong knock. But after he got out, the game became tough. Fans were worried.

KL Rahul then took charge. Batting at number six, he scored an unbeaten 29 from 21 balls. He kept the score moving and ended the match in style.

In this special record list, MS Dhoni is still number one with 9 match-winning sixes. KL Rahul is now second with 6 such finishes. Virat Kohli is third with 5.

With this performance, Rahul proved once again that he is one of India’s most reliable finishers in ODIs.
