Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has been in the news recently because of her marriage and pregnancy rumours. She got married to actor Zaheer Iqbal after dating him for many years.
Many people were surprised when she announced her wedding. It is also said that her brothers were not happy and did not attend the wedding. But her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, supported her.
Sonakshi and Zaheer had a simple court marriage at home. After that, they hosted a big party where many Bollywood stars were present. The couple first met at a party hosted by Salman Khan, and soon became close.
After the wedding, rumours started that Sonakshi is pregnant. These rumours increased when she went to the hospital the next day to meet her father. However, both Sonakshi and Zaheer have spoken about these rumours before. Sonakshi also said that her weight gain is one reason people are guessing this.
Now, her mother Poonam Sinha has spoken about it for the first time. She said that Sonakshi’s birth was a very happy moment for their family. She also said that daughters are very special.
Talking about the pregnancy rumours, she said people have already made them grandparents many times through such talks. She added that they will be happy whenever that moment really comes.
After marriage, Sonakshi and Zaheer also bought a luxury house in Mumbai and are living there together.
