Nagpur: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has raised concern about the growing habit of leaders changing parties for power. He said today’s politics looks like “export and import,” where people join the ruling party and leave when power changes. According to him, this trend is harming the true spirit of politics.
He remembered his early days and said that leaders once worked with honesty, even without respect or comfort. “There was no fame, but there was happiness in work,” he shared.Gadkari also spoke about Nagpur’s future. He said the city will soon use gas made from waste to run scooters and buses, making it cleaner and greener.
He added that Nagpur is becoming a center for education and jobs. Big institutes have been invited, and local students are getting special benefits. Through new projects, investment is reaching backward areas like Gadchiroli.Plans are also ready for a world-class bird park on Wardha Road and for making Nagpur a strong international airport hub.
Gadkari said he is confident that the BJP will win big in the municipal elections, as the city’s development is visible to everyone
