Pune: A shocking incident has been reported from a hospital in Bhayandar. An 89-year-old woman who was admitted to the ICU for treatment was bitten by rats.
According to information, the elderly woman had several rat bite marks on her body. Surprisingly, doctors, nurses and other hospital staff were not aware of this incident.
The matter came to light when the patient’s relatives noticed the injuries on her body. They immediately shouted for help and informed the hospital staff.
By the time the hospital administration reached there, the rats had already caused many wounds on the woman’s body.
This incident has raised serious questions about the hospital’s cleanliness and care for patients. The patient’s family has blamed the hospital for negligence and demanded strict action.
