New Delhi: The West Bengal Assembly election results are out, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won a big victory. After this loss, Mamata Banerjee from the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) spoke to the media.
Mamata Banerjee said her party did not really lose. She claimed they were made to lose. She accused the Election Commission of India of helping BJP. She said the election was not fair and that many votes were removed. She also claimed BJP took around 100 seats in the wrong way.
She blamed PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for this result. She also said BJP workers attacked her party workers.
On resignation, Mamata made it clear she will not step down. She said she will not go to the Governor to resign. Instead, she will talk with her party leaders and plan the next steps. She also said she will continue to fight against BJP.
Mamata said many opposition leaders support her. She named Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, Uddhav Thackeray, Hemant Soren, and Tejashwi Yadav. She also said Akhilesh Yadav will meet her soon.
She further claimed that BJP workers are attacking people, including poor and backward communities. She said police are not taking action. Mamata also said she was attacked and hurt.
She ended by saying she will not give up and will continue her fight.
