Mumbai: Maharashtra State Board has made an important change for students.
Earlier, students got two separate documents after Class 10 and Class 12 exams — a mark sheet and a certificate. Now, both will be given together in one single document.
Board Secretary Deepak Mali shared this information in an official notice. As per the new rule, students’ names will be printed in this order: first name, father’s name, and then surname. This will help keep records clear and the same everywhere.
The board also noticed that some student photos were not clear on admit cards. Earlier, students were told to paste a new photo and get it signed by the school principal. Now, the board has started a “photo correction” option on its website so correct photos can be updated easily.
Schools and junior colleges have been asked to check all student details carefully and send updated information. If there is any mistake in the name or details, it should be corrected quickly through the board office.
This new system will make things easier and more clear for students
