Nashik: In a big update, fake godman Ashok Kharat has been sent to 14 days judicial custody by a Nashik court.
Kharat was in police custody for the last two weeks. After his custody ended, police presented him in court. Looking at the seriousness of the case, the court decided to send him to jail custody.
Ashok Kharat is accused of cheating people and sexually abusing women. Police say he pretended to have special powers and promised to solve people’s problems.
Some women have said that he misled them in the name of rituals and then abused them.

He showed fake things like snakes and “magic items”
He took large amounts of money from people

In one case, he is accused of taking land worth crores by cheating a person.
Now Kharat will stay in judicial custody for 14 days. Meanwhile, police will continue the investigation, collect proof, and question more people.
