New Delhi: A case has been filed against Delhi judge Aman Kumar Sharma’s wife after his father complained to the police. The case was registered at Safdarjung Enclave police station. Along with his wife Swati Malik, her parents and one more person have also been named in the FIR.
Judge Aman Kumar Sharma was found dead at his home in Delhi on Saturday in suspicious conditions. Police reached the spot after getting a PCR call from his brother-in-law, Shivam Kumar. The body was sent for post-mortem, and police started an investigation.
The family said Aman was under stress for the last few days. They claimed he had told them that he was very upset and was being troubled for the last two months.
According to family members, Aman had an argument with his wife on the night of the incident. They said she was shouting while Aman was crying. After some time, the house became silent.
Later, when his father looked for him, he was not in the room. When they called his phone, it rang from inside the bathroom. Even after knocking many times, there was no reply.
The family also said some people who were in the house left suddenly. Police are now recording statements and checking all possible reasons behind the incident.
Aman Kumar Sharma joined Delhi Judicial Service in June 2021. He studied law at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and was working as Secretary at the District Legal Services Authority.
Police are continuing the investigation to know the exact reason behind his death.
