New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi said he is never fully satisfied with the work done by his government. In an interview,he said his government has made big and basic changes in the system, not just small improvements. He said India is slowly moving forward in a new direction because of these reforms. Modi added that in public life, a person should always feel a positive push to do better work for the country.
Talking about the “Reform Express,” Modi said he will never say he is completely satisfied. He believes there is always room to improve. However, he also said that the development and progress made so far cannot be ignored. The government is working with full dedication to bring more reforms.
Modi also said that India’s position in the world has become stronger in recent years. He said recent trade deals did not happen suddenly. They are the result of a strong economy and growing confidence. He mentioned that during the time of the United Progressive Alliance, trade talks were held, but no strong results came after long discussions.
He added that after his government came to power, it focused on policy changes and stable leadership. Because of this, the economy became stronger and other countries started trusting India more. Modi said India has signed free trade agreements with 38 countries, including talks with the European Union. These agreements have helped Indian companies enter big global markets and made India a trusted partner.
