Mumbai: Maharashtra government has made land work much easier. Now, converting land from farming use to non-farming (NA) can be done online. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said this system will make work faster, clear, and easy for everyone.
Earlier, people needed a special NA permission to use farm land for building houses, shops, or industries. But now, the government has removed this rule. If your building plan is approved, it will be treated as NA permission.
The government has started a new online system called BPMS (Building Permission Management System). With this, people can:
Pay charges online
Apply for land permission online
Get NA entry directly on the 7/12 record
Now, you don’t have to go to government offices again and again. The full process can be done from home in just a few steps.
