Mumbai: Maharashtra Board has announced the Class 12 (HSC) Result 2026 today, May 2, at 1 PM. Students can now check their results online.
The result was shared in a press conference by Board Chairman Trigun Kulkarni. This year, about 14.58 lakh students appeared for the exam across nine divisions like Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Kolhapur and others.
Total pass percentage: 89.79%
Konkan division got the highest result: 94.14%
Girls did better than boys again:
Girls: 93.15% pass
Boys: 86.80% pass
The result percentage has gone down compared to the last two years:
2024: 93.37%
2025: 91.88%
2026: 89.79%
Exam Info:
The exams were held in February–March 2026 for 153 subjects. Strict rules were followed to stop cheating. Around 15 FIRs were filed and about 100 staff members were suspended.
