New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi opened the first phase of Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh, giving a big boost to air travel in North India. The new airport is expected to reduce the crowd at Indira Gandhi International Airport and make travel easier for passengers.
After inspecting the airport, Modi addressed a public gathering. He spoke about the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and said that many countries are facing problems like rising fuel prices and shortage of essential items. He assured that the government is taking steps to protect Indian citizens from the impact and asked people not to believe in rumours.
He said the Jewar airport will not only help passengers but also support farmers and businesses. With better road, rail, and air links, goods can be sent faster to different parts of India and even to other countries. This will help increase income and create new opportunities.
The Prime Minister also highlighted that many big projects are coming up in the region, which will improve transport and bring more investment. He said these developments are helping Uttar Pradesh move ahead quickly.
He added that this airport project was pending for many years but has now become a reality. According to him, such projects show fast development and better planning.
With this new airport, the government aims to improve connectivity, support trade, and make travel more comfortable for people.
